BABY J'S WORKS TO ELIMINATE CHILD LABOR

Baby J's Children's Fashion is working with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and with the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to Eliminate Child Labor in the impoverished sugar growing region of the Philippines. According to a recent survey there are 4 million Filipino underage children in full time employment. Our aim is to train and employ their mothers so the children can return to school. We establish cottage industries for hand smocking and hand embroideries and employ the mothers at home, giving them livelihood so their children can go back to school.
